About
I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Malta, along with Authorisation A and B electrical licences. My work sits where theory meets the site: circuit design, control systems, power electronics, and the practical job of making installations safe, compliant, and reliable.
Full time, I am Maintenance Manager at Farsons. I look after maintenance across the brewery, the process block, water treatment, and the microbrewery: The Chapels restaurant and Red Mill microbrewery. Farsons produces Malta’s local beer, Cisk, together with Carlsberg, along with brands such as Skol and Soltoro.
Part time, I am an Electrical Engineer at CPI – Central Power Installations, where I worked full time as a technician until 2026. I take on projects and handle electrical design and design review. Alongside work, I am completing a UK-accredited Project Management programme at Malta Business School.
Outside engineering, I spend most of my time with the ZIBEL NGO, diving on marine clean-ups. I am a karate black belt and a European Championships bronze medallist, though I stepped away from the sport a few years ago. I have also presented several Maltese TV programmes.

Pre-Compliance EMC Emissions in Automotive Products
Honours thesis: a method for measuring conducted electromagnetic emissions in automotive electronics with both compliant and low-cost CISPR 25 setups. I studied how cabling, shielding, and power source affect emissions, separated common-mode from differential-mode noise, and checked the results against certified lab measurements.

Automated Liver Blood Perfusion System
An automated ex-vivo porcine liver perfusion rig for MiTREAT microwave ablation research. I built the sensing and heater-control electronics on a PIC18F8722 microcontroller and wrote a LabVIEW GUI that monitors flow, temperature, and pressure in real time.

Drama, Performance Ethnography & Self-Esteem
Co-authored research published in SAGE Open on how drama and performance ethnography help young people with dyslexia build self-esteem and share their experiences.
